Anemone hupehensis ‘Pretty Lady Diana’ From Aris Horticultural Services

This fall-flowering Japanese anemone from Blooms of Bressingham distinguishes itself with a dwarf habit that is naturally compact. It also has amazing flower power with showy masses of large, 2-inch, single, pink blooms. This reliable and sturdy performer is a big improvement in garden and container performance over older, taller varieties. Plants prefer full sun to part shade and are hardy in Zones 5 to 9. In the garden, plants grow to 16 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Flowering height in containers is 18 inches. ‘Pretty Lady Diana’ prefers moist soils and will not tolerate long periods of dryness. Provide extra shade in very warm climates. The breeder is Yoshihiro Kanazawa in Japan.
