Ball Seed to Distribute Seed Lines from Hort Couture

Glamouflage petunias are among the several product lines that Ball Seed will distribute on behalf of Hort Couture.
Hort Couture has announced a new alliance with Ball Seed Company in which Ball Seed will exclusively distribute the Culinary Couture Seed lines for Hort Couture beginning in the fall of 2018. Key product lines include the Basil Pesto, Mixology Tomato, HealthSmart Pepper, and Kale Edibliss collections.
All varieties will be available on Ball Seed WebTrack and will ship from the Ball Horticultural Company facility in West Chicago, IL.
“We have such wonderful innovation in our seed program, and the opportunity to work with Ball Seed to distribute our new genetics is amazing,” says Jim Monroe, CEO of Hort Couture. “The entire team at Ball has been so helpful this past year.”
Ball Seed will also have exclusive rights to sell Hort Couture’s Avant Garde Annual Unrooted Cuttings. This includes Under the Sea Coleus, Glamouflage Petunias, Asclepias ‘Monarch Promise,’ and Glitterati Geranium product lines.
Liners will still be available from additional brokers in the market with production at Peace Tree Farm in Pennsylvania, Wenke Greenhouses in Michigan, Wenke Sunbelt in Georgia, and Meadowlands Horticultural Inc. in Vancouver, Canada.
Of note, there will no longer be a pot requirement for the program.
