HIP Labels And New Christie Ventures Hire Eastern Sales Manager To Enhance Their Strategic Partnership

HIP Labels, LLC and New Christie Ventures announced they will retain the services of Gerry Docksteader to represent joint efforts between the two companies to offer comprehensive packaging solutions to greenhouse and nursery growers in the northeast.

As eastern sales manager, Docksteader will facilitate the unique partnership between two of the horticulture industry’s most innovative and cutting-edge vendors.

“My 25-plus years experience with all facets of wholesale and retail horticulture, from operations and production to sales and marketing positions me to maximize the total-solution opportunities this team offers the industry,” Docksteader says.

Formerly sales manager at Glenn Walters Nursery, Docksteader brings a depth of knowledge and insight to the HIP and New Christie Ventures joint venture. He’s been closely involved with prominent nationally branded plant programs like Knock Out Roses and sales for plant producers with reach in all parts of the U.S.

HIP Labels, which is based in North Carolina, produces custom horticultural identity solutions, including a full array of stake and hang tags with sustainable substrate options, custom-fit pot wraps, and a comprehensive offering of POP signage. New Christie Ventures, a Connecticut-based company, is a full-service producer and distributor of custom designed growing containers, utilizing leading edge injection molded technology for branded and generic pots and covers, trays, and buckets.

“We’re excited to have Gerry on our team,” says Bob Lovejoy, president of HIP Labels. “He understands how HIP/NCV products mesh in advantageous ways that ramp up sales for customers of both companies.”

“This is going to be a win across the board,” says Chris DePaolo, general manager of New Christie Ventures. “Gerry’s perspective on the practical application of our products combined with the added value of branding and sustainable options is a plus for our companies and customers.”
