2017 Missouri Botanical Garden Field Trial Results

Every year, the Missouri Botanical Garden, located in St. Louis, MO, trials hundreds of new annual and perennial varieties for their durability, aesthetic appeal, and sustainability for the gardening public. Jennifer Smock, Supervisor of the Kemper Center for Home Gardening, along with horticulturists Julie Hess and James Killion, evaluate the trials each year. Here are their top picks for 2017:
