Pantone Marsala Plants To Grow In 2015 [Slideshow]

Marsala (Pantone 18-1438), an earthy, wine-red color, is the Pantone Color Institute’s 2015 Color of the Year. The company says Marsala is a color that “enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability.” Media reaction to the color has been mixed, but that hasn’t stopped plant breeders and growers from using the 2015 Color of the Year for creative marketing to showcase plants with Marsala hues. Enjoy this round-up of Marsala plants, which is a mix of both old and new varieties.
