Prepare crops to leave the greenhouse with Segovis fungicide

Before crops leave the greenhouse and get distributed to consumers’ homes and gardens, a final fungicide application should be applied for protection. Consider applying Segovis® fungicide as a proactive approach to preventing common crop diseases. Using Segovis before moving crops out of the greenhouse helps mitigate challenges that could negatively impact customers’ gardening experience.

Phytophthora crown and stem rot, Rechcigl

Preventing Downy Mildew & Phytophthora with Segovis:

  • Apply Segovis prior to shipping crops, such as impatiens and roses, to prevent downy mildew and Phytophthora
  • This final application can protect crops all the way to the landscape.1
  • A Segovis application can even protect crops that are planted in areas where downy mildew has been active in the past.

Segovis Provides Many Benefits:

  • A unique mode of action for control of downy mildew and Phytophthora spp. on potted and bedding plants, foliage plants, perennials, trees and shrubs.
  • Long-lasting disease control when applied as a drench or foliar spray at low use rates.
  • Low use rates and long-lasting control allow for a timely and cost-effective disease management approach.
  • A novel mode of action provides a new tool for growers to diversify rotation programs and manage resistance concerns.

Learn more about Segovis fungicide at GreenCastOnline.com/Segovis.

1Led by Mary Hausbeck, Ph.D., Michigan State University studies show if impatiens are treated with their recommended fungicides, the risk of an outbreak in the landscape is significantly reduced or prevented. Segovis is listed as the last treatment before shipping as a drench at 3.2 fl. oz./100 gal. Find the complete program here.
