2015 Colorado State University (Fort Collins, Colo.) Field Trials Results
In 2015, approximately 800 different plant varieties were planted at the Colorado State University Trials. Early spring (May into mid-June) in Fort Collins was cooler and quite wet. July was more seasonal, but August into mid-September was hot and quite dry. Overall, the trials looked good throughout the season, says Jim Klett, professor and Extension landscape horticulturist for Colorado State University.
