The member companies that attended the meeting, including Bayer CropScience, MGK, Monsanto, Syngenta and Valent, provided stories about stewardship programs, scientific research, public/private partnerships, education and outreach efforts by their companies and our industry that are in support of pollinator health.
RISE now has the opportunity to package these stories and facts, along with other such information from the entire membership of RISE and CLA. The White House staff expressed an interest in driving forward solutions in positive, proactive and inclusive ways to help promote pollinator health.
RISE is asking for pollinator health stories and facts from your own company activities that can be included in its summary report, which will be submitted to the White House April 21. The organization is interested in stories about pollinator health projects, programs and partnerships in these areas:
• Habitat and forage improvement
• Scientific and research solutions for bee stressors and forage
• Stewardship
• Regulation and regulatory relief for products addressing bee health
• Education and outreach
• Participation in public/private partnerships to promote pollinator health
Submit your ideas to RISE president Aaron Hobbs at ahobbs@pestfacts.org by April 17.
