The farm-to-table movement has dramatically increased demand for locally produced herbs, vegetables and fruit. The supply chain for locally-sourced produce is still being created, and it offers a great opportunity for small and medium growers to broaden their farm and greenhouse customer base by providing fresh produce to local restaurants, grocery stores and schools.
But getting in the door isn’t always easy. To help you understand the ins and outs of local venues, we’ve assembled a panel of experts in each of these areas for an online workshop, How You Can Supply The Farm-To-Table Movement. We’ve also invited growers who organized peers in their area in order to better supply the increased demand for locally farmed herbs, fruits and vegetables.
