The ThinkPlants Network Welcomes in Knox Horticulture

Knox Horticulture has joined the ThinkPlants‘ network of breeders, growers, and suppliers. This new addition expands ThinkPlants’ growing portfolio of genetics, broadens its reach of suppliers and customers in the market, and further strengthens the availability of perennial young plants across North America, particularly in the southeastern U.S.

Words from ThinkPlants and Knox Horticulture

“We continue to focus on increasing the availability of ThinkPlants perennial liners throughout North America,” says Joey Wiseman, Director of ThinkPlants. “Adding Knox Horticulture as a young plant producer is a strategic step that allows us to better serve growers in the Southeast while strengthening our overall supply chain.”

“We look forward to expanding our perennial rooting business,” says Roger Dutcher, Young Plant Program Manager at Knox Horticulture. “Being part of the ThinkPlants program will help us reach more growers and increase awareness of our offerings.”

“ThinkPlants was developed with the grower in mind,” says Wiseman. “While outstanding genetics are essential, a strong and dependable supply chain is just as critical. Ensuring consistent availability of high-quality perennial liners is a priority shared by all participating breeders and growers.”

Each ThinkPlants participant contributes expertise in plant breeding, horticulture, technical support, production, supply chain management, sales, and marketing. It is the strength of these companies working together, which creates such a powerful resource for the North American nursery industry.
