Manzana LLC is built on the same principles. Founded in 2015 with 60 employees in the state of Michigan. We now have over 1,600 workers in 10 different states working in orchards, fields of trees, perennials, annuals, corn, and asparagus crops. Our workers are well experienced in all forms of production methods. We believe in partnering with our clients to provide them with a dependable and hardworking labor force to supplement their seasonal labor needs. We are innovative and adaptive to our clients’ needs.
We handle the petition and recruiting process from start to finish. We believe in taking care of our employees. They are transported to and from work via a fleet of well-maintained buses and vans. We own and operate our own housing camps within the state of Michigan. All required insurances are in place including workman’s compensation. Workers are paid weekly for all hours worked.
We are partnered with some of the top labor attorneys in the country to help us stay compliant with the ever-changing rules of H2A. Employers participating in the H-2A program inevitably face Department of Labor investigations; and the larger the company, the more likely it is to be audited. We have successfully navigated the audit process, and we know the way through the storm. Anything that can be questioned, checked, tested, or proven has been done. We are battle-tested and have come through the fire because we have systems in place to ensure full compliance and are rigorously self-audited.
