New Films For Light Control
The new Polyheilos films are proven multi-layer technology, durable and long lasting. The films offer a selection of solar energy, transparency and thermal insulation and are economically priced. Polyheilos films’ light diffusion characteristics greatly improve photosynthesis efficiency by improving light dispersion, which is especially important for self-shading, tall and trellised plants. In addition, an anti-drip additive in selected films raises the surface tension of the film to improve light transmission and prevent water dripping on plants, which reduces the incidence of disease.
Also available are thermal I.R. Polyheilos films, designed to prevent heat radiation losses from the greenhouse to the atmosphere. This is especially important to maintain higher foliage temperatures and drier plants and reduce the incidence of frost damage. The I.R. films also lead to substantial savings in this age of high heating costs.
