Millstadt Young Plants Hosting Poinsettia Open House

Millstadt Young Plants’ poinsettia trials have become known as the “biggest and best” around.

Millstadt Young Plants and N.G. Heimos Greenhouses (just outside of St. Louis, MO) are hosting a Poinsettia Open House on Nov. 15. The open house will showcase a comparison trial of hundreds of poinsettia varieties from six different breeders: Beekenkamp, Ball/Selecta, Dummen Orange, Rinehart, Syngenta, and Suntory. Plants will be finished under natural light conditions and a short day or black cloth conditions.

The event also includes two featured speakers: Raymond Cloyd of Kansas State University, and Janna Beckerman, of Purdue University.
