Greenhouse Grower is Evolving With You

June 2017 CoverYour business is constantly evolving to keep up with the latest technology, developments in new varieties, advances in production techniques, and pressures of serving your customers.

At Greenhouse Grower®, we’re constantly evolving too. The launch of Greenhouse Grower TECHNOLOGY™ to help you sort through, understand, and incorporate the latest developments in high-tech tools is just one example of how we’re adapting to meet your needs.

The great new design of our June issue is another.

A good redesign goes deeper than updating a logo and giving things a fresh coat of paint. We spent the last year on an in-depth review of your needs as growers and how we’re helping you with your business. As a result, you’ll be noticing an even deeper focus on the issues we heard matter most to you: varieties, production, and management. You’ll see it reflected in our new tagline and in the multiple covers for the magazine in our June issue. You’ll find coverage of new approaches and new technologies from our team of editors and expert contributors. You’ll be reading more from your grower peers in the corner office and in the greenhouse, sharing their own successes — and maybe even a few “Wow, I’ll never do that again” stories. And we’ll help you capitalize on emerging markets including protected agriculture and cannabis.

A good redesign also goes beyond print. We’ve given a complete re-think to how we use all of our platforms — and we have a lot of them — to help you with the different facets of your business. You’ll be seeing enhancements and more exclusive digital content in our BenchRunner enewsletter, our topical email series, and on GreenhouseGrower.com. We’re also bringing you highly targeted educational and networking opportunities through our ever-expanding roster of events including GreenhouseConnect, the Biocontrols Conference & Expo Series, and more coming soon.

For 33 years, Greenhouse Grower has been the most trusted, independent resource for our industry and your operation. We’ll keep evolving to remain an indispensable partner for you in the months and years to come.

Don’t Let Your New Year’s Resolutions Fade …

Stuff got real in 2017, and it caused many of us to stop and reflect on the current state of the world, and how we can impact change — or at least improve our own situations. Life is too short, and we work too hard, to not use the annual renewal as an opportunity to take stock of our own personal lives, businesses, and careers, and make the necessary adjustments that will allow us to work smarter and live better. Even if you have already given up on your resolutions, perhaps you can think of January as a trial month and make February the month when you really get to work on your goals. And while I know it’s a difficult month to start on some of these changes, since you’re already immersed in the busy spring season, I promise that if you take some time to evaluate your reality […]
