Dramm Offering New Video Chat Option for Service Issues, New Whitepaper on Indoor Air Flow

Dramm-Fan-Whitepaper-QR-codeDramm Corporation has introduced two new resources for its greenhouse grower customers to deal with indoor growing conditions.

Dramm recently published a new whitepaper covering the topic of “Momentum-Based Air Flow for Optimized Growth.” The whitepaper explores proper air movement in the greenhouse and indoor growing facilities. Beyond just heat distribution, good air flow will homogenize temperature, humidity, and CO2 for even growth throughout the growing area.

Another key focus for proper air movement is to gently remove the microclimate near the plant to help reduce vapor pressure and increase transpiration. Fans moving too fast cause turbulence and uneven drying. Slower, momentum-based fans help remove the humidity near the plant and distribute it throughout the remainder of the zone, aiding transpiration.
