14 Petunias on Display at California Spring Trials 2025

California Spring Trials attendees are likely to see new petunia series or color offerings at just about every stop. In this slideshow, you can find just a sampling of what the Greenhouse Grower team captured from this year’s event.

'Tea Lilac Salmon' (Beekenkamp)

This series of upright, weather-tolerant plants now includes 27 colors, with Lilac Salmon the latest.

Crazytunia Series (Westhoff)

Four new colors were added this year: Orange, Yello, Blackberry Syrup, and Bananarama (pictured). The uniform series has a reduced growth habit.

'Pink Cloud' (Westhoff)

‘Pink Cloud’ offers extreme weather tolerance, huge blooms, and strong vigor for large baskets and planters.

Mainstage Series (Selecta One)

This vigorous, weather-tolerant series includes four new colors with bigger blooms: ‘Burgundy Sky’, ‘Magenta Glacier Sky’, ‘Merlot Glacier Sky’ (pictured), and ‘Light Blue Vein’.

This popular series also features three new colors: Crimson, Crystal Pink (pictured), and Strawberry Picotee.

'Surfinia Heavenly Cashmere Pink' (Suntory Flowers)

Surfinia Heavenly petunias are top sellers because they represent the happy medium – controlled vigor without sacrificing garden performance. New Cashmere Pink is a sun-kissed heavenly light pink. Mounding, semi-trailing plants are covered with blooms.
