The annual Michigan Garden Plant Tour showcases new varieties, top-performing plants, and favorites from the Michigan State University (MSU) trial gardens. Following the 2025 Michigan Garden Plant Tour, a team from MSU Extension selected its favorite varieties, first compiled in a “Featured Five 2025” article series and then presented at a “Best of the Best Varieties” session during the Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo. These presentations were recorded, edited, and have now been shared in a “Best Performing Annuals and Perennials in Michigan 2025″ video playlist.
