More Leading Breeders Offering a Range of Drought-Tolerant Varieties
It’s no secret that water has become more expensive, and in many regions, harder to find. Consumers are looking for plant varieties that grow well without constant watering, and keep the water bill down for the homeowner. Growers are already skilled at capturing and reusing their irrigation water. But with rising input costs, it’s always helpful to cut back where you can. Growers in the western U.S. are feeling the pressure now more than ever. Check out these drought-tolerant varieties from Danziger, Darwin Perennials, Dümmen Orange, and Hem Genetics. Also, make sure to check out Parts 1 of our drought-tolerant slideshows featuring additional plant breeders, and stay tuned for more variety slideshows here at Greenhouse Grower.
