Pantone 2026 Color of the Year Varieties
Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, is a soft, luminous white that feels clean, versatile, and quietly optimistic. It’s a color that works anywhere in the garden, yet never fades into the background. In floriculture, white has long played a supporting role, bringing contrast to vivid color schemes, brightening shaded spaces, and creating balance in mixed containers. To celebrate the announcement, we here at Greenhouse Grower invited breeders to submit varieties that best match or complement Cloud Dancer, and the response was tremendous. Use the slideshow below to explore how this color comes to life across different crops and forms.
