Cornell University (Ithaca, N.Y.) 2015 Field Trials Results
Cooler and wetter than normal climate conditions in Ithaca got things off to a slow start in the early weeks of the Cornell University trials. Caladium, catharanthus and some petunia varieties did not fare so well during this time. However, clear skies and warmer temps in late July and early August brought new life to the varieties most affected, which resulted in a fine show for the 100-plus annual varieties exhibited at Cornell’s Floriculture Field Day on August 11.
