Greenhouse Wage, Price, and Production Trends in 2025
Greenhouse Grower’s 2025 State of the Industry survey included questions about wage, price, and production comparisons between 2024 and 2025. One of the questions we asked was how much employee wages, on average, increased in 2025.
Based on the responses, wage increases were slight. About 45% of respondents increased wages between 1% and 3%, and another 29% increased wages between 4% and 6%. Only 15% of companies increased wages more than 7%, and another 11% said they did not increase wages at all.
When it comes to prices, the chart below highlights how much growers increased, or didn’t increased, prices in 2025. More than half of respondents increased prices between 1% and 5% in 2025. When compared to 2024, the biggest difference was in price increases of ore than 5%; in 2024, 16% of growers increased prices more than 5%, compared to only 6% in 2025.

One other question asked “How did your operation’s 2025 production compare to your operation’s production in 2024?” 87% of respondents said production was flat to up, with 26% of growers noting that production was up less than 5%.
