GreenTech Offered an In-Person or Virtual Reconnection for the Horticulture Industry
GreenTech Live&Online, one of the first horticulture events to take place in perso since the COVID-19 pandemic began, closed with great success last week. Around 7,500 horticulture-related professionals from 140 countries registered for the in-person show and/or the virtual platform. The three days (Sept. 28-30) were all about reconnecting the industry, knowledge sharing, and innovations.
The top five countries represented were Germany, Belgium, the U.S., France, and the Netherlands. The international atmosphere was reflected by the attendance of visitors from 60 countries.
“I have never seen so many happy faces at a show floor because we could finally meet each other again in person,” says Mariska Dreschler, Horticulture Director at GreenTech. “This special edition of GreenTech was a great success in terms of reconnecting, high quality of speakers, the presence of international market leaders and innovators, and the positive vibe at the show floor.”

“Although I was unable to attend GreenTech Live&Online in person, the virtual platform was very efficient and useful. I heard great discussions about the need to become more data driven, automation and digitalization.”
All the knowledge sessions will still be available for on-demand viewing in the coming two weeks on the virtual platform. In addition, GreenhouseGrower.com will offer a closer look at some of the presentations in the coming weeks.
GreenTech 2022, in full physical format, will take place from June 14-16, 2022.
