H-2A Program Remains a Largely Untapped Option for Growers

Despite labor constantly being cited as a business challenge, only about 30% of greenhouse operations are using the H-2A program, according to results from Greenhouse Grower’s 2025 State of the Industry survey. This number is actually down from the 2024 survey, where 39% of growers said they employ H-2A workers.
