Crop Protection Manufacturers Detail 2017 Early Order Discounts
Growers love a good deal, and early order discounts and rebate programs for crop protection products are a good place to start when you’re making purchasing decisions for your 2017 season.
Greenhouse Grower asked crop protection product manufacturers to send us the details for their 2017 Early Order Discount Programs and ongoing rebate programs, to provide you with a compiled knowledge resource of all discount offers at a time when you’re making decisions for 2017.
So far, we have received information from: Syngenta, Dow AgroSciences, and BASF. Check out the following pages (one per manufacturer) to find out how you can take advantage of these programs to save money on your crop protection tools for the upcoming year.

The Power Of MORE Rebate Program From Dow AgroSciences
Greenhouse growers earn cash back when they purchase Dow AgroSciences products and formulated products containing Dow AgroSciences active ingredients through the 2016-17 Power of MORE rebate program. This year’s program runs Sept. 1, 2016, through Aug. 31, 2017.
An additional incentive will be paid on all purchases made in September, October, November, or December 2016. Products trusted by greenhouse growers, including Dimension 2EW, Gallery SC and Snapshot specialty herbicides, Conserve SC insect control, and Eagle 20EW specialty fungicide, are all available for base and bonus rebates.

Syngenta GreenTrust 365 Ornamental Program Brings Greater Value To Growers
The GreenTrust 365 ornamental program from Syngenta kicks off Oct. 1, with the Early Order Period running through Dec. 7, 2016. The annual program offers greenhouse and nursery growers the best value of the year through rebates, GreenTrust Rewards, Multipaks, and more.
Growers can qualify for GreenTrust 365 and save on the newest additions to the Syngenta ornamental portfolio by purchasing convenient Multipaks during the program period.
There are three new Multipaks available:
- Downy mildew and Phytophthora Multipak (Segovis + Micora + Subdue Maxx fungicides) offers a comprehensive rotation solution for downy mildew and Phytophthora diseases
- Mural fungicide + Mainspring GNL insecticide Multipak offers two of the most recent ornamental products from Syngenta
- Avid miticide/insecticide + Mainspring GNL insecticide Multipak delivers an insecticide solution with two modes of action
“With these new Multipaks, growers will have what they need to preventively treat for many common insects and diseases they might face in the upcoming season,” says Laurie Riggs, Ornamentals Market Manager for Syngenta. “In addition, the GreenTrust 365 program lets them plan ahead while earning additional benefits and locking in year-long savings.”

Yearlong Rebates: Spending at least $5,000 on Qualifying Products from Oct. 1 to Dec. 7, 2016 locks in a yearlong rebate of up to 10%.
GreenTrust Rewards: Points from purchases made during the Early Order Period can be redeemed for a variety of gift card options. Purchases made in October earn triple Rewards points. Plus, growers can earn additional Rewards points when they purchase Mainspring insecticide and Mural and Heritage fungicides. The new Multipaks also count toward earning Rewards points.

BASF 2017 Early Order Program
The BASF Ornamentals Early Order Program for 2017 includes all of the popular features from last year’s program, as well as new and exciting features including a 10% rebate for volume orders of FreeHand 1.75G herbicide and a bigger rebate booster of 2% on grower solutions, including new Orkestra Intrinsic brand fungicide.
Here’s how to maximize your rebates:
