What can and should growers expect as the industry marches into 2026? There are certain swings in the market to keep an eye on for a better idea of where to focus your business efforts, including predictions from economists, evolving consumer preferences, and industry-specific trends.

American Floral Endowment‘s upcoming webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, as part of its ongoing Grow Pro series, will cover these trends and more to help growers stay ahead of the curve in 2026. Topics of the webinar will include:

  • An outlook on greenhouse crops for the new year.
  • Consumer trend predictions for 2026.
  • Marketing strategies to employ for 2026.
  • Predictions for the 2026 economy.

The featured speakers for “Trends to Watch in 2026” are Dr. Charlie Hall, Professor and Ellison Chair in International Floriculture at Texas A&M University, and Dr. Melinda Knuth, Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University. Hall completed his Ph.D. at Mississippi State University, with an expertise in floriculture and the green industry, after receiving his M.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design at the University of Tennessee. Knuth completed her Ph.D. in Horticulture at Texas A&M University before working as an Assistant Professor at NC State.
