12 Retailers Choice Award Winners From Farwest 2022

The 2020 Farwest Show may have been canceled as an in-person event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the event’s popular display is still happening.
The coronavirus pandemic continues to affect several industry events planned for this summer. Here’s an update.
Members of The Garden Center Group recognized 15 products from 13 exhibiting companies at Farwest 2019 for the Retailers’ Choice Awards.
A panel of select judges, as well as show attendees as a whole, picked their favorites from among 83 outstanding new selections on display at the 2019 Farwest Show.
Farwest 2019, which kicks off on Aug. 21 in Portland, OR, will feature a wide range of educational sessions, as well as innovations to be found on the trade show floor.
During the 2019 Farwest Show, Lloyd Traven of Peace Tree Farm LLC will deliver a talk on the do’s and don’ts for launching new plants into the horticulture marketplace.
To qualify for entry, plants must exhibit qualities such as greater hardiness, increased bloom time, more vibrant color, improved habit, or better disease resistance.
Agricultural economist Charlie Hall will deliver the keynote address at the 2019 Farwest Show with a look at green industry trends.
During Farwest 2018 in Portland, OR, in August, Retailers’ Choice Awards were presented to 14 exhibiting firms during a presentation on the Farwest Solutions Center.
The 2018 Farwest Show experience included four key components — learning, networking, experiencing, and buying/selling.
