The Greenhouse Lighting and Systems Engineering (GLASE) Consortium at Cornell University has announced the launch of its new Greenhouse Course Catalog. This resource serves as a centralized database of active controlled environment agriculture (CEA) trainings from leading academic institutions.

The Greenhouse Course Catalog aggregates continuing education options from trusted educators, including:

  • Cornell University
  • Michigan State University
  • The Ohio State University
  • Rutgers University
  • The University of Arizona
  • The University of Florida

The catalog gives everyone a map to explore today’s educational programs focused on greenhouse production and indoor farming and shares direct links to each course provider for the most current information.

GLASE’s Greenhouse Course Catalog shares information about both online and in-person courses, covering a wide range of topics essential for CEA professionals. From nutrient management and advanced irrigation techniques to greenhouse climate control and crop substrates, the catalog features knowledge for a wide range of expertise levels.

“Access to quality education is essential for advancing the CEA workforce,” says Gretchen Schimelpfenig, GLASE’s Executive Director. “We are making it easier for learners to upskill in this rapidly evolving sector by curating the first-ever CEA training catalog featuring researchers and instructors from the top U.S. academic institutions leading greenhouse education. Our resources are a great fit for students and professionals pursuing their dream careers in the CEA industry.”

The Greenhouse Course Catalog is already growing, with four new CEA Works courses launching on Sunday, June 1, 2025. GLASE Industry Advisory Board members receive complimentary access to CEA Works and the full GLASE Library for their teams.

Educators who wish to have their coursework included in the Greenhouse Course Catalog are encouraged to reach out to Matthew Del Buono at [email protected] and follow GLASE on LinkedIn.
