Greenhouse Grower has entered the world of podcasts with the launch of our new “Greenhouse Grower to Grower” series. In the podcast, which will be delivered every other week, we talk to growers from across the controlled-environment industry about market trends, innovation, their biggest challenges and opportunities, and more.

In Greenhouse Grower’s January issue, which was all about the bright future of floriculture, one of the topics we explored was how growers approach technology, in particular how they can make the right choices on when and why to invest. This gave us the chance to catch up with Abe and Art Van Wingerden, co-owners of Metrolina Greenhouses, to learn why and how they take this approach. Metrolina is widely considered to be an industry leader not just in adopting new greenhouse technology, but in doing so for the right reasons.
