T.O. Plastics, Inc., a thermoforming manufacturer, recently completed significant investments in its Clearwater, MN, production facility. These upgrades enhance manufacturing capabilities while emphasizing the company’s focus on American-made quality and sustainability.
T.O. Plastics expanded its thermoforming capabilities by installing new extrusion lines and an additional pelletizer line. These advancements improve production efficiency and capacity, positioning the company to more effectively serve the requirements of the North American horticulture market.
“Our team has remained dedicated to supporting our local communities and strengthening domestic manufacturing,” says Paul Meschke, President of T.O. Plastics. “These investments uphold our commitment to quality, innovation, and American manufacturing.”
In line with the company’s values of supporting domestic industry and sustainability, all raw materials processed through the new extruding and pelletizing lines are sourced from suppliers within the U.S. and primarily comprised of post-industrial recycled material.
“By sourcing all our raw materials domestically, we can offer the very best in product availability and performance,” says Jared Rusch, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Our customers benefit from a dependable supply chain that is less susceptible to international disruptions and delays.”
Vertical Integration to Meet Quality and Industry Demands

Through comprehensive supply chain management, the company can innovate and adapt quickly and accurately to the evolving requirements of the horticulture market.
“Our manufacturing facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a highly skilled team with the ability to ramp up production to meet demand,” Rusch says. “This proactive approach demonstrates our commitment to supporting the domestic horticulture market and ensures that our customers receive the highest quality products without delay.”
