Syngenta Flowers on Inside Track With Varinova Cyclamen

Syngenta Flowers and Varinova Operations B.V. announced a new agreement with Syngenta Flowers becoming the exclusive sales and marketing channel for Varinova cyclamen varieties in the U.S. and Canada.

Varinova’s robust cyclamen portfolio and breeding pipeline will allow Syngenta to continue its strong presence in the cyclamen market and supporting growers with a full range of varieties.

“The combination of Varinova and Syngenta cyclamen genetics will continue to support Syngenta as a market leader in Cyclamen as well as bring continual innovation and value to our grower and broker partners in North America” stated Scott Valentine, Head of Syngenta Flowers in North America, in a prepared news release.

This combined offering also leverages best in-class technical support from both companies with Varinova providing technical support to North American growers in conjunction with Syngenta’s own technical expertise to give grower a full package of genetics and technical growing support.

“We have been working on the development of our cyclamen assortment with the North American market in mind. Next to our current assortment, we are anticipating much more interesting introductions to come. This new offering will be on full display during California Spring Trials (CAST) 2019. Varinova varieties will be available for viewing at Syngenta Flowers CAST location in Gilroy, as well as Headstart Nursery, also in Gilroy, CA.
