2015 All-America Selections Summer Summit Will Coincide With Home Garden Seed Association’s Annual Meeting

The 2015 All-America Selections Summer Summit, “The Urban Ag Experience,” will take place October 6 to 9 in Dallas, Texas. For the first-time ever, the AAS Summer Summit will be held in conjunction with the Home Garden Seed Association’s annual meeting.

AAS and HGSA, along with the National Garden Bureau, will take attendees on a tour of innovative urban agriculture spots around Dallas, including the Dallas Arboretum, Texas A&M’s AgriLife Research Center and Ruibal’s Plants of Texas urban garden center, located next to the Dallas Farmer’s Market, which is undergoing major renovations.

The event is in close proximity to Fort Worth, another area of innovation, so tours of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas are included that day, followed by an urban foodie experience sure to please anyone with an appetite.
