Bayer CropScience And OHP To End Marketing Partnership In October 2016

OHP, Inc. and Bayer CropScience have announced that the two companies’ long-standing marketing partnersship will mostly end on Oct. 31, 2016. OHP, Inc. has been the exclusive marketer of Bayer products into the U.S. ornamental nursery and greenhouse market for more than 26 years.

OHP will continue to service the full line of Bayer products through next October. After that date, OHP will market Bayer’s Marathon G, Marathon 60 and Marathon II insecticides, Discus insecticide, Decathlon insecticide and OHP Chipco 26019 N/G fungicide sourced from Bayer.

The remainder of Bayer’s North American turf and production ornamentals business will be served directly by Bayer, targeting greenhouses, nurseries and garden centers across the U.S. To facilitate their entry into this market, Bayer will begin marketing products and active ingredients that have previously been marketed by OHP Inc., as well as other Bayer chemistries.
