Dr. Allan Armitage Now Has a Podcast

Long-time horticulture professor and Greenhouse Grower contributing editor Dr. Allan Armitage has joined the world of podcasts. He recently launched “Stories From the Garden” in which Dr. A provides “the rest of the story” on how various popular plants came to be known.

“Telling stories is what I do, and anytime we can get people smiling about what we do, that is a good thing,” Armitage says. “This podcast is not a how-to; it is just me playing Mr. Rogers and telling tales from the garden and some wonderful plant portraits.”

The podcast is now live with a handful of episodes (only a few minutes each) covering Black-Eyed Susan, baptisia, and more. You can subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
