Intrinsic Perennial Gardens, Inc. has announced the introduction of a new Moor grass.

Introducing Sesleria x ‘Star Crossed’

Sesleria x ‘Star Crossed’ was born from a cross of two blue forms of sesleria. The result is a uniform plant with a compact mounding form with wider and bluer foliage, maturing at 8–10 inches in height and 12 inches wide. Creamy yellow flowers are held on winged stems 15 inches in length. Sesleria grows best in cool temperatures during the season, preferring average to moist soil and tolerating full sun to light shade. It makes a perfect foil for low spring-growing bulbs and perennials. Hardy for Zones 5–9, it’s also now available from Monrovia.
