TTA-ISO Americas Forms Partnership With Pack Manufacturing, Launches New Cutting Planter Technology
TTA-ISO Americas and Pack Manufacturing have announced a strategic partnership designed to provide North American growers with broader access to integrated automation solutions.
Through the partnership, growers can source a wider range of equipment and expertise, including soil handling, filling, conveying, robotics, plant handling, sorting, selection, and integrated software. The collaboration gives growers the flexibility to invest in standalone machines or develop complete automation lines as their operations grow.
For growers, the partnership creates a stronger single-source approach to automation projects. Both companies bring dedicated sales and service teams to the collaboration, offering local advice, on-site visits, solution engineering, installation support, and long-term service throughout North America.
The partnership combines TTA-ISO’s expertise in high-tech automation, robotics, integrated software, and crop-handling equipment with Pack Manufacturing’s solutions for soil handling, filling, conveying, and material handling. Together, the companies can design and deliver complete production lines that connect multiple parts of the growing process into one efficient system.
“This partnership is built around what growers need: practical automation solutions that fit their operations,” says Kris Nightengale, President of TTA-ISO Americas. “It reflects our commitment to growing through meaningful partnerships and expands our combined ability to deliver complete production lines while continuing to offer best-in-class standalone solutions. Together, we are making it easier for growers to find the right solution for every stage of their automation journey.”
The partnership formalizes a relationship that dates back more than two decades. TTA-ISO and Pack Manufacturing have worked alongside one another for many years, combining their complementary strengths to support mutual customers. Built on shared values, long-standing trust, and technologies that fit naturally together, deepening the relationship was a logical next step.
“Our companies have been connected for more than 20 years,” says James Brooks of Pack Manufacturing. “We have always shared the same commitment to helping growers succeed. By bringing our strengths together, we can offer customers more comprehensive solutions, backed by experienced people, reliable service, and long-term support.”
TTA-ISO Americas and Pack Manufacturing will showcase their partnership at Cultivate’26. Growers can visit booths #447 and #449 to learn how the companies’ shared expertise can support automation projects, from individual machines to fully integrated production lines.
TTA-ISO Launches CuttingPlanter 2.0
TTA-ISO also announced the launch of its newest solution for automated cutting planting: the CuttingPlanter 2.0. More than a decade ago, TTA-ISO introduced the original CuttingPlanter as the world’s first machine capable of automatically planting cuttings, setting the standard for automated cutting planting worldwide. Building on that legacy, the CuttingPlanter 2.0 takes automated planting to the next level, with a wider picking area, a faster robot with an extended working range, and a cutting return belt that returns unplanted cuttings to the front of the machine.
The CuttingPlanter 2.0 is built for faster, easier operations. Improved accessibility makes daily use and maintenance simpler, while active cooling ensures optimal performance even in warm, humid greenhouse environments. An electric tilting robot gripper enables angled pick-and-place handling, and a new touchscreen gives operators intuitive control over the machine.
Despite these upgrades, the machine retains the same footprint. With unchanged dimensions, the CuttingPlanter 2.0 can be integrated into an existing setup without major layout changes, making it a straightforward upgrade for growers already familiar with TTA-ISO equipment.
This new generation runs on TTA-ISO’s CuttingVision software, a proven platform already trusted on the CuttingEdge, meaning growers benefit from one powerful, field-tested software platform across TTA-ISO’s machines. The CuttingPlanter 2.0 further extends this with a range of smart options, including compatibility with VisionAir, a pre-separator for tangled cuttings, and a belt washer designed for cuttings that may leave agar or resin residue on the belt.
The CuttingPlanter 2.0 is available now and will be showcased at Cultivate.
