Focusing on “Testing the Best in the Midwest,” this year’s Variety Day took place on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at the trial gardens and greenhouses at Plantpeddler in Cresco, IA, with more than 1,500 varieties displayed from breeders around the world.
