TTA-ISO Acquires the Demtec Brand and Selected Assets

TTA-ISO has acquired the Demtec brand, certain intellectual property, technical drawings, spare parts, and inventory from Depoortere following the bankruptcy of Constructie Werkhuizen Demaitere BV. Demtec will continue as a TTA-ISO brand with its own product portfolio and market position. The acquisition marks the start of a new growth phase for Demtec. TTA-ISO plans to resume production, further develop the product portfolio, and strengthen Demtec’s position in the international horticultural market.

Strengthening TTA-ISO’s Offering

Demtec is an established name in horticulture, offering equipment for processes including potting, tray filling, soil handling, soil blocking, seeding, irrigation, and internal transport. Its portfolio complements TTA-ISO’s existing automation solutions. At many customer sites, Demtec and TTA-ISO machines already operate side by side in the same production flow.

For TTA-ISO, the acquisition creates an opportunity to support a larger share of customers’ production processes and to expand into additional market segments.

Demtec adds key process steps to our offering and creates new opportunities in markets we can now serve more effectively.”

Building Demtec for Growth and Continuity

As part of TTA-ISO, Demtec gains access to greater engineering capacity, production expertise, global sales reach, and investment capacity. The ambition is to grow the Demtec brand beyond its former position.

TTA-ISO is currently evaluating how future production of Demtec machinery will be organized. The company is exploring several production options to build the capacity needed to restart production and meet future demand.

A substantial stock of spare parts is included in the acquisition. TTA-ISO is also working on the future setup for service and support of the existing Demtec installed base. Spare parts and service will be offered under TTA-ISO’s own terms and conditions.

Demtec machines currently under construction are not included in the transaction. TTA-ISO has also not assumed any of the former company’s contractual obligations or liabilities. Customers of the former company with outstanding orders or advance payments are being informed separately.
