Making The Decision To Produce Medical Marijuana
Should horticultural growers consider cultivating medical marijuana? That’s up to the individual grower, of course, and certainly a number of growers already have jumped in. Survey Snapshot Shows Biocontrols Mainstreaming
Have you incorporated biocontrols into your greenhouse operation? If so, you’ve got plenty of company. An anonymous online survey by Greenhouse Grower magazine in December 2014 of more than 156 ornamental plant and flower growers across the U.S. found 81 percent used biocontrols in 2014.

Some Growers Like Growth; Others Like Growing. Which Type Are You?
Have a plan. If you’re a smaller grower and you aspire to be a one-stop shop – better plan for rapid growth. If you’re a larger grower who has a long-time specialty – double-down on your dominance in that category or else plan to widen your product mix. Just don’t end up in the middle of the road. As the Pretenders observed, that’s where you’ll see the darndest things.
