Louisiana State University to Host Annual Nursery Field Day at Hammond Research Station

Louisiana State University’s (LSU) College of Agriculture will once again host its annual field day at the Hammond Research Station on July 23.

The station will welcome nursery and landscape professionals to hear more about its plant trial results as well as research projects. This comes after the event was put on hiatus for the COVID-19 pandemic.

LSU will also be releasing virtual content, including video tours of the trials and research presentations. The videos will be available here.

“We are very excited to welcome our green industry friends to the station after this hiatus,” says Jeb Fields, Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist at LSU. “We have been working diligently on our plant trials and new research and can’t wait to share.”

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and the program begins at 8 a.m. ending with lunch. The event will also include:
