See New Varieties on Display at Cultivate’25

If you’re looking for information on new varieties but can’t make it to California Spring Trials or many of the regional field trial locations, attending Cultivate’25 may be the next best thing.

It starts with the cultivar trials at The Ohio State University (OSU). On Saturday, July 12, the OSU trial gardens will feature a showcase of more than 200 annual and perennial varieties on display, where they are being evaluated for landscape and container performance in typical Central-Ohio conditions. Free shuttle rides from the Convention Center are available at the Transportation Desk beginning at 4:30 PM. Final departure from OSU back to downtown Columbus is at 7:00 PM, and the gardens are open to all attendees.

Once the trade show opens on Sunday, July 13, come see the newest plant materials getting ready to hit the market. Cultivate’s New Varieties Zone is one of the largest showcases of new plant genetics all in one place. Thousands of growers, retailers, and landscapers attend Cultivate just to get a peek at the newest varieties coming down the pipeline.
