Costa Farms Boosts Brand Presence Through Multiple New York Events

Costa Farms continued its momentum as a leading voice in indoor plant culture with a series of activations in New York City this season, part of a broader push to build stronger connections with today’s plant-loving consumers.

“Costa Farms isn’t just a grower, we’re a brand,” says Mari Carrasquillo, VP of Marketing at Costa Farms. “We’re meeting consumers where they are, from social to retail to real-life experiences. Being in New York gives us a platform to inspire, educate, and innovate in a way that only Costa Farms can.”

The first stop was PlantCon NYC, a two-day event held Aug. 30–31, 2025, at Pier 17, where Costa Farms teamed up with Plant Choir to help visitors literally tune in to the frequencies of plants. With an education-driven booth, Costa Farms hosted Q&As with its in-house experts, dished out plant facts, and engaged thousands of plant lovers with exclusive giveaways and sneak peeks of trending varieties.

PlantCon NYC brought together thousands of houseplant enthusiasts, content creators, and industry leaders for two days of panels, workshops, and vendor activations, marking it as one of the fastest-growing consumer plant events in the country.

“Costa Farms is leading the way in bridging the gap between hobbyists and industry by showing up in the spaces that plant people love,” says Kenny Kong, President and Founder of PlantCon. “They’re making plant hobbyists feel seen, valued, and engaged in a way that other growers and large brands have failed to do. Their ability to connect makes Costa’s booth stand out at every event they attend, not just PlantCon!”

Building on that momentum, Costa Farms next hosted an exclusive media event in Manhattan, designed to showcase plant styling inspiration and product innovation. The event brought together editors, influencers, and stylists for a meet-and-greet with plant stylist and author Hilton Carter and Costa Farms’ horticulturist Justin Hancock.

Guests were invited to explore a “Nature nook”, learn about the trend of collecting, and see for themselves the emotional and aesthetic benefits of living with plants. Attendees received grow tips, content inspiration, and a first look at Costa Farms’ 2026 collection.

“We want plants in every corner of every home,” says Hilton Carter, plant stylist, author, and creator. “Costa Farms gives people more than just plants; they offer the tools and the vision to create something meaningful in their own homes.”

Both activations are part of Costa Farms’ multi-year integrated marketing campaign, which blends live experiences with data-driven outreach, affiliate support, influencer partnerships, and digital storytelling — the goal is to elevate the Costa Farms brand from shelf to screen to soul.
