American Floral Endowment Announces New Class of 2025 Interns
This Spring, nine students were awarded internships through the American Floral Endowment’s Vic & Margaret Ball Intern Scholarship Program and Mosmiller Intern Scholarship Program.
The Vic & Margaret Ball Intern Scholarship Program places students at commercial production greenhouses or nurseries for three-, four-, or six-month durations and provides a scholarship of up to $6,000, depending on the length of their internship. The Mosmiller Intern Scholarship Program places students at leading floral retail, wholesale, or supplier businesses for a period of 10-16 weeks, with a $2,000 scholarship upon their completion of the program.

Rachel, a horticulture student at Iowa State University majoring in Horticulture, will complete a six-month internship (January-July 2026) at Tagawa Greenhouses in Brighton, CO.
Parker Carlson
Parker, a student majoring in Agriculture at Texas State University, will complete a three-month internship (May-August 2025) at PlantPeddler in Cresco, IA.

Lemuel, a student majoring in Horticulture Production at Kansas State University, will complete a six-month internship (June-December 2025) at Neal Mast Greenhouses in Grand Rapids, MI.
Zachary Morris

Zachary, currently majoring in Horticulture/Forestry at Missouri State University, is completing a six-month internship (May-December 2025) at Neal Mast Greenhouses in Grand Rapids, MI.
Timothy Pearce

Timothy, a student majoring in Horticulture at Kansas State University, is completing a three-month internship (May-August 2025) at Heartland Growers in Westfield, IN.
Sydni Potter

Sydni, a student majoring in Plant Science at the University of Tennessee with a focus on Horticulture Production/Science, is completing a three-month internship (May-August 2025) at Metrolina Greenhouses in York, SC.
Brooke Usher

Brooke, a student majoring in Horticulture at the University of Georgia, will complete a six-month internship (January-July 2026) at Tagawa Greenhouses in Brighton, CO.
Alana Wood

Alana, currently attending Kansas State University and majoring in Horticulture Production, is completing a three-month internship (May-August 2025) at Pure Beauty Farms in Miami, FL.
Mosmiller Internship Awards

Isabella, currently a student at the University of New Hampshire majoring in Agriculture and Food Systems, is completing a 12-week internship (May-August 2025) at McArdle Florist and Garden Center in Greenwich, Connecticut.
