Insights Into How a New Congress and Administration Will Affect Horticulture

With a new Congress and new Presidential administration in 2021, the legislative landscape has changed significantly since last year. What does it mean for horticulture and critical issues facing the industry? What can business owners do at the grassroots level to advance these key issues and defend the industry?

On Feb. 24-25, AmericanHort will take a look at those key issues and where they stand, hosting subject matter experts and members of Congress to discuss their perspective on the road ahead. Issues such as agricultural labor, the H-2B program, and taxes will be topics of discussion at AmericanHort’s Congressional Kickoff Event. In addition, renowned economist Robert Dietz from the National Association of Home Builders will present key indicators and data from the housing industry and what it means for the horticulture industry.
