Mark Your Calendars for the Annual Agricultural Labor Forum

labor-supply-and-quality National Council of Agricultural EmployersRegistration for the National Council of Agricultural Employers’ (NCAE) 5th Annual Ag Labor Forum, which takes place Nov. 28-30 in Las Vegas, NV, is now open.

The Forum has become a can’t miss event for employers in specialty agriculture, and an opportunity to network with other producers and share experiences. Sessions during the forum are intended to be educational and provocative, leaving attendees with expertise in labor issues that they can take back to their operations.

A government affairs expert will give attendees a peek at what might lie ahead for agriculture with the new Congress. Attorneys with expertise in immigration, the H-2A visa program, human resources, and more will be available to discuss topics in great detail and answer attendees’ questions. A tax expert will discuss the impact to agriculture of the new tax law and what it means for business. Government agency representatives from the U.S. Departments of Labor, Citizenship and Immigration Services and State will be on hand for discussion and to answer questions.

Additionally, for the first time ever, NCAE will hold its first Advocacy Boot Camp on Nov. 27, the day before the event officially begins.

“Ag employers should register early for this event,” says Michael Marsh, NCAE President and CEO. “Their businesses are too priceless to gamble away.”
