Ed Mansuy brings horticultural sales experience from his tenure at BFG Supply, along with a background in business ownership and service management. A U.S. Navy veteran, Mansuy will serve select customers in various regions.
John Thorsen joins EHR after 28 years in brokered plant sales with McHutchison, following eight years with Vaughan’s Seed Company and earlier work as a grower. Based in Illinois, Thorsen will focus on young plants and perennials for select accounts in northern and central Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Star Roses and Plants Hires Territory Manager for South Florida
Kim Anders-Luber joins Star Roses and Plants as the Territory Manager for the South Florida region. She assumes this role following the retirement of Jim Darden.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Kim brings a well-rounded expertise to the team, previously working at John Deere Landscapes, McGregor Plant Sales, and most recently at McHutchison Horticultural Distributors, where she was the Key Account Sales Manager for the Southeast. She also has a degree in plant science and landscape systems from the University of Tennessee.
The South Florida position became available as part of a larger transition in the Star Roses and Plants sales team. After nearly 30 years with Star Roses and Plants, Jim Darden began a well-deserved retirement this October.
“We can’t thank Jim enough for his dedication to Star and the tremendous impact he made on our company, for our customers, and in the industry as a whole,” says Tom O’Connell, Director of Sales, Marketing & Licensing. “Moving forward, we couldn’t ask for a better fit than Kim — her enthusiasm and experience have already added a remarkable amount to our team.
