New Website Facilitates No-Contact Plant Pickup from Garden Centers

NoContactPlantPickup.comSBI Software has launched a new website that not only helps grower-retailers offer an important service to their customers during the coronavirus pandemic, but also helps raise funds for relief efforts.

NoContactPlantPickup.com features a nationwide search function in which any garden center, grower, or retailer can upload their plant availability in real time. Consumers log in, shop and place an order, and pay for it, and they receive an email when the plant is due to arrive.

Once the consumer goes to the garden center, all they have to do is pop open their trunk, and the plants are loaded right into the car.

Consumers can go to the site and note their preferred location to pick up plants, while retailers can sign up to sell their plants.

According to SBI Co-founder Aaron Allison, a portion of all sales made on the site go to a Covid Relief Fund. The site launches on March 27, and several major growing operations are already listed as members.
