Why “We Don’t Have a Choice” on Scaling Sustainable Agriculture Indoors

These are the sentiments of Jonathan Webb, CEO of AppHarvest, who recently joined Yahoo! Finance Live to discuss scaling controlled-environment agriculture infrastructure, keeping produce prices low, and the future of farming as climate change impacts grow.

“We need to build a lot of infrastructure over the next decade, in order to use less land, use less water, and grow more food in the middle of climate disruption,” Webb noted during the discussion.
