Plug & Cutting offers cutting-edge education, focusing specifically on best practices in young plant production. This year, the conference will feature three key tracks, including production input, plug and cutting principles, and problem management. Some sessions will be offered in Spanish, as well. Attendees will learn from renowned experts on these topics and how they can specifically relate to their operation.

The Plug & Cutting Production Tour will take attendees to two diverse and unique North Carolina greenhouses. The tour will stop at Metrolina Greenhouses and Rockwell Farms. Metrolina Greenhouses is a family-owned wholesale plant and services company with 162 acres under roof, making it the largest single-site heated greenhouse in the U.S. Rockwell Farms, another family-owned business, operates a commercial greenhouse with 36 acres of environmentally controlled greenhouse space.

The conference will also offer an in-depth workshop on Biocontrols for Propagators. Suzanne Wainwright-Evans will talk about biocontrol agents that can be used in young plants and which pests they control. She will also teach workshop goers firsthand how to apply them.
