BioWorks Launches GreenSpring to Boost Early Season Plant Growth
BioWorks has launched GreenSpring, a mixed-mineral fertilizer that delivers targeted nutrition during critical stages of plant development. Engineered to complement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs, GreenSpring delivers essential nutrients during root initiation and early vegetative development to enhance nutrient use efficiency, promote root architecture development, and improve crop tolerance to abiotic stress conditions.
How GreenSpring Helps Plants
GreenSpring is a liquid fertilizer containing nitrogen, sulfur, molybdenum, and zinc to support crop establishment and season-long performance. When incorporated into IPM programs, GreenSpring promotes healthy soil and rhizosphere conditions for improved crop vigor. GreenSpring can be used in field, greenhouse, high tunnel, and nursery production systems across ornamental, vegetable, and fruit crops.
To maximize early-season performance, GreenSpring is designed for application at planting or during early vegetative growth stages when root initiation and development are most active. Program recommendations include four to eight applications at seven-day intervals to support consistent nutrient availability and plant establishment.
GreenSpring’s performance is maximized under conditions that support active root and soil biology, including moist soils, active microbial conditions, and lower heat stress periods. GreenSpring differs from traditional fertility products by delivering nutrients during periods of peak plant activity, improving nutrient efficiency and supporting stronger, more resilient early-season crop growth.
“GreenSpring was developed to help growers establish healthier crops from the very beginning of the season,” says Chris Rose, General Manager. “By improving nutrient availability during critical early growth stages, GreenSpring gives growers an important tool to maximize plant performance and support season-long success.”
