The first speaker has been announced for the Dr. Greenhouse Academy Spring Workshop, which takes place May 4-5 in Sacramento, CA, with a focus on HVAC and controls. Tad Hussey of KIS Organics will talk about soil-grown controlled-environment agriculture, including the effects of beneficial microbes and toxic heavy metals on plant growth. Click here to learn more about Tad in a “What Plants Crave” podcast from the team at Dr. Greenhouse.

The Dr. Greenhouse Annual HVAC and Controls Workshop is designed to help CEA industry professionals advance their knowledge and know-how in managing the growing environment for all crops, grown anywhere and anytime. Through Dr. Nadia Sabeh’s teaching style, attendees can pick up expert tips and fun facts about plants and their interactions with the environment.  You can also learn the fundamentals of plant physiology, heat transfer, and psychrometrics, as well as how to measure, calculate, and analyze the growing environment through hands-on activities and lessons.
